August Bucket List

Oh August, how I LOVE and HATE you!
How can it be the last month of summer already??? For those of us living in Wisconsin it means we have to pack EVERY last nice weather activity into the next thirty days, because let's be real there's a chance that come September 1st we will be be shoveling snowđ
So here's what Tyler and I will be doing with the rest of our summer days
Go to a drive-in movie- so many have popped up over the past few months and I am a sucker for retro movies.
Have a squirt gun war- at the beggining of summer I bought two squirt guns from where else? Target! My secret plan is to slip Tyler an official letter letting him know my intention of taking him down, game on!
Have a picnic- I have been eyeing up the perfect picnic spot at a park around the corner from our house. I'm thinking of packing up some of my favorite Trader Joe's cheese and crackers and some watermelon sparklers and watch the sun go down over Lac La Belle.
Spend a whole day reading- If you've been around here long enough you know my love for books. But, between running a business, teaching and renovating our home it's rare that I have a lot of time for it. So I plan to mark a day off on the calendar to sit out on my porch daybed and dive into my reading list.
Have A LOT of bonfires-maybe it's just a midwest thing but everyone is always having a bonfire around here, and I'm totally here for it. Sitting around talking to friends and eating s'mores, count me in!
I'm determined to make the most of what's left of summer. Let me know what you have planned in the comments!
